What responsibilities? ,e r social animals. we live in a society n in order to live amicably among ourselves we have to follow certain rules.
Lets not forget that men n women are made differently. They together complement each other.
And when there is love in the heart, we will never complain. if there is no love or respect for people you are doing things for, then even a princes will be unhappy, who has no responsibilities.
You don't want to follow the norms of your own society? Change it! How? Change your surrounding, go to place where those norms are not followed that r stifling you.
Complain only if you have the power to change it, or bear it! What changes can you bring in your personal life to change the situation you are in?
And what sacrifice? as i said, if you have love in your life nothing will seem like the way you feel. Its all got to do with others isn't it?
Where is the love.Do you have love in your life?

It's definitely a personal choice. My husband is lebanese and I know his father sdoesn't know how to do the laundry but my husband got up at 8:00 this morning and put his own load in.
I was a little taken aback because it is my job and my dad doesn't so his own laundry but he explained that my mother is home all day so it is different. I can see that.
If you both work you should share in the responsibilities. It still feels a little weird for me because I like being the head of the household. But I'm sure I'll get over it. My girlfriends would totally kill me. They all share responsibilty. I think it is more common now than you know.

if the woman or man thinks that they r sacrificing, definitely they r leading a non-romantic life.If u just want to live ur own way, better not get married.life is not just taking, it involves a bit of giving.stop cursing the society and think how u can make relations better.best of luck.

Being a girl, I think we have done it to ourselves. You see the fat overweight wives- "im pregnant again" type senario, the steriotype is that women let themselves go after they reeled in the little golden fish. So its only natural that society places higher expectations on us, we are driving are own stereotype, except me, im in great shape haha
