A,B,C,D,E,F,and G you can play them all in major, minor, augmented, diminished, a chord is a group of notes played at the same time, usually 3 or more notes at a time if there is only 2 notes played at a time that is called a 5th

Major, Minor, 7th, major 7th, minor 7th, supended 4th, augmeted, dimished, etc.
There are others... but I really don't see how knowing the names of them is going to help you play.
