I have, its been four years of hard work on both of our parts. I belong to a on-line support group. Its anonymous, free, and you will find both men and women there that are recovering and rebuilding their lives and realtionships. There are various boards at this site for whatever stage of recovery you are in. There is also live chat, usually more active in the evenings.

There are suggested reading lists and links to other sites, and to professional counselors message boards. A couple of good books are "After the Affair" and "Not Just Friends." I would obtain and read "After the Affair" first.

Another link is http://www.dearpeggy.com

Recovery and rebuilding is possible, it takes effort, and time.

Hope this helps

Id say about as equal as if it were the man cheating! I totally feel if u r going to be married that theres NO room for affairs or hurting the person u suppossedely love. I think if it happens they BOTH need to discuss WHY it happenned in the beginning cuz something is obviously missing. I dont think I could ever EVER forgive my hubby if he did this to me and it would end up ruining our marriage.

There is usually a reason why people have affairs. I have a friend whose husband was abusive, physically and mentally, She is gorgeous, she tried to leave him and he pursued her, the police got tired of being called, she had a restraining order but it seemed the harder she fought to leave the harder he fought to keep her so she eventually caved and stayed with him, she has had numerous affairs, not because she is a whore but because her spirit is broken and she is longing for some compassion in her life, sadly she feels that her body is all she has to offer. He is using the fact she had affairs as a tool to make her feel guility and everything he did to her seems to be forgotten in his mind. I think if she had affairs and the man left then I gurantee the woman would thrive and find one man and be faithful, why would any man stay unless he is acually the one who needs her.

My husbands ex wife cheated on him over 8 times during their marriage. He only took her back because of the kids. He didn't want to put the kids through a divorce. I know it was stupid for him taking her back that many times but at least he was thinking about the kids when she wasn't. Now she has a child by another man and my husband is to pay child support for this child until shes is 18 or out of college. He has to pay child support all b/c the child was born during their marriage which i think is wrong. He didn't tell her to go out and whore around. So now he is paying almost $1,000 a month for child support to her (there is 3 kids) plus he has to pay all medical bills. We live paycheck to paycheck. By the time we pay rent and our utility bills theres nothing left. The mother has no job and is worthless all she does is sit on her @ss and collect CS. She got pregnant several times by other men while married one of the men was a child molester and she had him around the children (what a mother huh!!!) My husband finally got his head on straight and told her he wanted a divorce she just couldn't understand why. She thought that she could go out and whore around all the time and he'd take her back since he did all them other times well this time he didn't. So now shes out there still going from man to man, shes had 4 bfs within the past year. I ask my husband all the time what the hell was you thinking when you took her back all them times? He said the kids. I told him he should of left the first time b/c once a cheater always a cheater.

well it depends.have you ever cheated? have you given your best to her?If you cheated than you should be able to relate. If you have neglected her and she feels unloved then that sometimes leads to cheating.Depends on how much you love this woman....if you feel life would be better without her, than let her go.If you love her too much to let her go,then I would say talk, talk, and find out why.If she loves you etc.You could seek counseling also.I am a firm believer that a person can cheat and maybe never cheat again....If you do stay with her ,I hope you don,t plan to throw it in her face everytime you have a spat...

Some do some dont but forgiveness is the best policy. I read over 30% of women cheat on their husbands and something like 70% of men do. Buch of losers.

I would want to know the reason, for all I know, it could have been something that I could have taken care of myself...but this never happened as far as I'm aware.

I don't think they forgive so easily, neither do women. It would be higher than we think. Nobody is perfect and when you think about it many people have already cheated in their minds.
