Don't do it! It will look like you were confused as to whether to dress for summer or winter. Pick a dressing season and stick with it from head to toe.

Not if you live in Miami. They are considered a fashion faux-pas by some snobby designers but it's a fact that they are the most suitable thing to wear on the beach or by the pool. I guess people from the north can't get that. But I'm a beach girl and flip flops are crucial here. What else are you gonna wear with bikinis?

Flip-flops are neveer a faux-pas in southern California. I'd wear them with cords - no problem. If you are in a warm weather area, go for it.

C'mon Tina, flip-flops ARE a fashion faux-pas. They are only acceptable when taking a shower ALONE.
