The cardigan was very popular for the hip crowd back in the 80's. Right now, the cardigan is not considered high fashion. While there are some efforts at a comeback, it still may be a few more years before the cardigan takes its place among the fashionistas of our time. Hang on to your cardigan and maybe start the trend by wearing it proudly!

No it just seems that way! I have an awesome gothic Siouxie Darkside cardigan, and a lot of kids wear cardigans from babies upwards!
Altho i know the kind of cardigan you mean, my grandad has worn them for as long as i can remember! I think the older generation are the only ones to wear them because they get sent the Damart catalogue :p

Now we are 65 & 60 and "do not" wear cardigans at all.
You are as young as you feel and we are not old like our mothers and fathers where. We sometimes go out and stay at a local jazz bar until at least 3am. So no we do not wear and intend to wear cardies.

NO, Justin Timberlake wears cardigans with shirt collars sticking out the sides and it looks pretty good on him!

No. I have a few cardigans in my wardrobe.
It was only the other year that boleros and shrugs were in fashion, after all they are very simular to cardigans.

I used to wear one in the office (btw I'm a 43yo guy). Offices here in Phoenix AZ, have A/C cooling the office to incredilby cold temperatures. Outside it can be up to 50C. So I wore the cardigan at my desk & took it off when I went outside.
