Just have to tell them "Thank You for the Offer...but unfortunately you've found something else closer to home and with a better potential"

Just tell them thank you for the offer. I always do this - I was extremely thrilled about the opportunity with your company, however I just got an offer from a company that I interviewed months ago that I cannot refuse. (that way they thought that I only interviewed there and was really happy to go there lol until something from my past came back). Thank them for your time and thats it. And if they ask you what the offer is it is upto you to tell them what the offer is. Also let them know that its closer even if its not and that the opportunities there are endless. If they counteroffer you DON'T EVER TAKE IT. Trust me. A lot of companies will blacklist you. You burn bridges and its not cool!

Thank the employer that offered you the job for the offer. Say it was a difficult decision, but you have accepted an offer with another firm. If it was a matter of a preferred environment, greater opportunity or income, let them know if you're comfortable with that. Whatever you decide to do, be gracious about it so you don't burn any bridges.

Weigh your options carefully and when you have made your decision, contact the taker first, work out all details and get information in writing. Then contact the other and state that you thank them for the opportunity, but that you will be unable to accept the offer as you have accepted another position.
There is no need to give them any explanation beyond that, but you also want to remember that you may be looking for a job again and you don't want to burn any bridges.
Good luck!!

First of all, congratulations! Secondly, tell the job that you don't want that you appreciate the offer, but you have already accepted a position at another business/firm/office/what have you.
