technology is a double edged sword, it has helped us in immeasurable ways however it has also removed us from simpler, purer, forms and at times made us its captive..a fancy gilded cage but a cage all the same....

Helped. Now we can communicate with people all over and make an effort to make a dent in the conflicts that still exist between all over the world.

It has hurt society because any idiot can use a computer now, to post messages of hate and other aspects of the darker side of humanity.

I should say it helped us much more than it hurt, however it could hurt the human society really much more than it helped someday due to the stupidity and irresponsibility of some of us.

Both but mostly hurt. Everything that uses a fuel smokes more than drug addicts.
