Do u prefer your wife to have long hair or short? My hubby swears he will divorce me if I ever cut my hair- do ya think he means it???? My hair is like past my booty and I DO love my hair- just wanted to maybe cut 3 or 4 inches!!!!!

My Husband says the same to me,never cut my hair! Guys like long hair I think.....Not much hair to pull when your getting wild and crazy in bed if it is short!!

Um, that is a really drastic change. I know that long hair is a pain, but husband has probably ingrained that as part of your image in his head. Its a package deal to him, like turning the family car into a convertible with the top down, when it wasn't a convertible before. Maybe break it to him gradually, cut it to the middle of your back next. Then in a few months change the style to shoulder length, and a few months later go to the short stuff. I don't know about him divorcing you
-----oh, wait!, you only wanted to take off 3-4 inches, no problem.
(His divorce talk may be from his thinking it was all going to go, so he may have heard you wrong, okay? Such a trim is common maintenance, he'll be okay.)

I prefer longer hair than shorter hair. But both are okay if properly taken care of and in good taste. But how you wear your hair is your choice. I would not divorce someone over a haircut because if it doesn't work it will grow back. Some styles take away from the person so choose carefully.

Not unless he's a weirdo. Do have the gumption to cut your hair if it needs it. He is telling you he has a preference for long hair...not threatening you. If you had cancer and lost all of your hair...would he love you less? If the answer is yes....get a divorce asap because thats not love.

I would think that he just means if you cut it all off. He probably would not even notice if you cut off a few inches. If you are saying you want to get your hair cut then he is probably thinking you want it real short.

To be honest, I think short hair and long hair is very sexy as long as it is well styled or taken care of. I would never put one before the other and certainly never leave my spouse for something as dumb as that.

i am a women and my man would get so mad if i cut my hair, he begged me to stop getting haircuts and let it grow out so i am trying and it is pretty long and i won't dare touch it. I think most men like long hair.

im not married yet but my bf loves my hair long. my hair is the longest it has ever been almost down to my waist. it takes me longer to do but he loves it so i dont mind lol
