Absolutely. You can either copy them to iTunes (just drag the files to the library list window and they will copy), or you can rip CD tracks as mp3 files with the correct choices in the Preferences (under Advanced-->Importing).

Yes....iPods play mp3-format songs.

if you mean mp3 files put into iPods, then yes...when ripping your CDs, you just have to make sure that you have your settings in "Importing" on iTunes to rip to mp3..you can also import wma files by converting them to mp3 format on iTunes..
