Met 23 so far and 'Loved" them all. sometimes three or four times.

Yes..I have been in love with someone I met online and he was almost 1,000 miles away. It didnt work the 1st time but we tried again later and it was perfect. I loved him b4 I ever even met him. Now? unfortunatly due to cetain events we are no longer and I am still in his home state waiting to go home. Very heartbreaking!! I do believe it can hapen though so dont lose hope. Give it a chance..it might just be the one.

No. But I know someone who has, she my co-worker. Met him online, meet in person the next few months, got pregnant by him, with all this going on, she moved in with him, they got married 8 months later, they have been married for a little over 2 years now and as of Monday, Oct. 2nd 2006 there divorce will be finale.

I have met several women online and had both cybersex and phone sex with them ... I planned to meet one but for a number of reasons, the meetings never took place.
Maybe it was for the best because I don't believe that meeting someone "for real" will do anything for the mental image you have of them online. You might expect a woman like Elle MacPherson and get Jocelyn Wilderstein ... scary!!

My partner and I met online in February 2004 and actually met in October 2004. Our two year anniversary is next month! We've lived together for over a year and are incredibly happy.

I never have been in love with someone I have met online. You can't fall in love with someone you've never met. You're in love with the fantasy. Don't get caught up in the fantasy or you're gonna get hurt. Just have fun and don't let your emotions get the best of you. I have met about 5 or 6 people off the net. None of them were as great as they made themselves out to be.

While it is possible to have deep feeling for someone you meet on line because you spend endless hours of talking, not being interrupted with physical relationship with eachother etc.....you must be cautious. For example: do you share "everything" with that person? The good the bad and the ugly things about yourself. Your mood swings, your bad habits, etc. Well, it is highly likely that the other person holds back on those negative things also, and puts their best foot forward on the computer. You can't see how they treat family, friends, children etc. I've been in this situation, talked to a man for months, thought he was Mr. Wonderful. We talked several times per day, shared pictures, thoughts, feelings........we pursued a relationship.........and THEN....I saw the real person. He abused his kids, had no respect for women, was self centered, rude, dirty etc. This doesn't mean that it's not possible to love someone you meet on line. Quite frankly I think it's a good way to "meet" people. I prefer not to go to bars and meet the drunks and partiers. Just be careful and DO NOT be too hasty.

I met my husband online, that was 7 years ago. I was in New Orleans and he was in Florida Keys. Talked for 4 months. Then I said hell with it and flew to meet him. Rest is history

I haven't myself but I really think it is the way to go these days. I have two friends that married this way and another who is moving to where the girl he met lives. I think it is a way to really get to know someone without the blinding of the physical attraction. That comes later when you have the intellectual down. If I wasn't happily married I would be doing this.

Yes and we have been living together for 2 yrs. We met online in a chatroom...he came to see me and moved in with me a week later. Hes the one i have been waiting for my whole life. I hope someday to be his wife. I love him with all of my heart.

I met my guy on line, but it did not stay that way long, we endedup meeting in person about 2 weeks later. I did not fall in love with him before i met him though, I move a little slower than that.
