Well instead of their terrorism here, they have OUR terrorism there. Doesn't make me particularly proud of this country. So much money and resources have been directed toward that end that huge social issues are being pushed aside that claim more lives than terrorists in this country ever have, drunk drivers to mention but one, (mis-) managed health care for another.

Not at all. All 16 of the intelligence agency's have come out and said the the war in Iraq has created more terrorist. We have made things worse. George Bush is probably the best recruiter that al quida has.

Also, a message to poster 'You're missing the point'. You seem to think that not having had any terror attacks means that the war has made us safer.
I've got a pair of jeans that stops terrorism. I bought them in October 2001 and there hasn't been a single act of terorrism in the US since, so I can only assume that they're working. You can have them for $500.

Of course not. Any truly thinking and aware person would say the same thing. Even the latest NIE - National Intelligence Estimate said so. For all you republicans that is the document the US intelligence agencies give as a brief to the president. Also for republicans - when its six o'clock the big hand is on the twelve and the little hand is on the six.

It is impossible to know how many American deaths Bush's illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq will cause.
Bush is breeding a new generation of 'kill Americans first" radical Muslims. The blood from those they eventually kill (and that their children kill,..., and their children's children..., will be on Bush's hands.

- OBL was planning an attack inside the United States, and
- that he might use airplanes, and
- that the targets would be politically important (DC) and major metropolitan centers (NYC)?
Are you aware that Bush, Rice, and the rest of the Bush administration ignored the memo?
Are you aware that the Bush administration abandoned the Israeli – Palestinian issue?
Are you aware that Bush abandoned the war on terror to invade Iraq which, according to your own Republican Congress’s report on pre-war intelligence:
- there were NO terrorists in Iraq before Bush invaded
- there was no connection between Iraq and OBL, AQ, or any terrorist organization
- Hussein did not provide training camps to terrorists
- Hussein hated AQ before we did
- Hussein did not hide al-Zargawi - he tried to have him arrested
Are you aware that the Taliban are stronger in Afghanistan now than they were before Bush invaded?

look, no war can make us safer! it terrrifies everyone because they know a war can break out anytime where they live... kids can be taken away from their parents, people dying....nobody wants that, and i'm sure u don't either!
