It's Usually Ray but Gerard usually does a little bit snd then takes most of the credit because he is the lead singer!!!
Ray is the hardest working member in the group!!
He's a bit shy though!!

I think all the band members help out in writing the lyrics. Probably it's mostly Gerard cuz he's the lead singer and all.

MCR write all of there own music, they don't high professionals to write for them. They have played some covers of other artists songs. Im not sure who actually writes the music for mcr, i've heard Ray is the most hard working guy in mcr, i know he writes most of the music, but as for the lyrics i once heard they got alot of there lyrics from Frank's diary, and for some reason i just figure gerard has some influence on the lyrics, maybe adding bits and pieces to it.

gerard and ray write the lyrics equally, gerard even writes the music for the guitars, the bass, and the drums, for the new album, i heard a 30 min interview, and it sounds like gerard wrote most of the songs
