Some perhaps. I try to take everything logically. So far, I have not seen very many arguments from liberals that don't involve emotion, selfishness, and ignorance. They state a lot of things that have nothing to do with reality and always cry that their rights are being stolen from them when it doesn't effect them or pertain to any "rights" given in the constitution or by law. They come up with a lot of nifty chants to use at protests, but know little about the suffering of others.
Conservatives are just as guilty for responding with emotion rather than logic in many cases. Abortion is one of those emotional things that both sides attack each other on that is based on their own ideas of morality than in reality. This is wrong.

We do have a default setting. It is to use logic to win hearts and minds of people. Unfortunately pure blind hate can not be over come with logic. I speak with more liberals who say "I Hate BUSH!" Well, never did I hate Bill or Hillary. And I think they are lying SOB's to the core.
And the reference to how many babies did you kill was about abortion. Liberals seem to want as many pregnancies to end with the babies death as possible. Conservatives want children to have a chance at life. Adoption is better that death for babies in our view.

That is called an ad hominem argument. He is attacking the arguer instead of the argument.
It is one of the many forms of fallacious reasoning used in debate when performing for an unsophisticated audience. Such as Yahoo Answers or the American Electorate at large.
In this case, it may be an unsophisticated debater copying the tactics of his political icons.

How many did you kill this week if any .Have you at any time in the past supported or killed the un-born or what ever they call the developing life inside women .
We are doomed if we can not save the most basic of all life .the life that begins at conception complete with everything needed to become an individual with eyes hair finger prints completely different from everyone else on earth .
