Instead of a hollywood film, why dont you try a foreign language film.

recomendations:
Delicatessen (weird)
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.........and Spring
Oldboy (violent)
Battle Royal (violent)
La Haine (just plain ace)
or try a really good Brittish film
Dead Mans Shoes
Room for Romeo Brass.

If you like romance movies I would suggest Phantom of the Opera.
If you like semi-intelligent movies with car chases, guns, heists, and things blowing up, I would suggest National Treasure.
If you like 'scary movies' or thrillers I would suggest Sleepy Hollow. (Which admittedly, isn't all that scary...)
If you like Fantasy/Adventure movies I would suggest The Princess Bride or The Never Ending Story.
If you like silly but enjoyable comedy movies I would suggest Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or Ice Age.
If you like slightly older movies I would Suggest Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Mary Poppins, Or the Wizard of Oz
If you like movies that are admittedly stupid but hilarious, I would suggest Hoodwinked or The Emperor's New Groove.

Prime. Or X-Men 3. The Devil Wears Prada is only just out int the cinema so it's hardly gonna be out on DVD.

order of selection: do not look Now V for Vendetta The Grudge~it really is too undesirable you do not have the sequel. Pan's Labyrinth 28 Weeks Later Little miss Sunshine The Wicker guy~Too undesirable you do not have the unique. If it really is the remake~YUCK! the unique is mindbogglingly extra ideal!
