I have an AData 4GB Card that is only being recnognized as a 1GB (981MB). How can I get it to see 4GB? I've tried reformatting it, but that doesn't work.

I bought the card from newegg.com, who I consider to be a reputable dealer. I paid $69 on sale, so I don't think it was a scam.

its not the card its the device. it sounds like a digi camera.. will only read memory up to 1 gb and ignore the rest

If you bought that card fro less than $75, then you have probably been scammed. That seems to be a popluar scam going around now.
