In French it is "encodeur". The job consists in typing in the computer the answers of people that were questioned and getting them into a database. What's the English word for it?

My best guess would be encoder, although I know little French. Many words are similiar and can be translated just by dropping a vowel.

In USA you would be a typist. If you are typing in responses to questions you are asking someone on the phone then you are a Pollster.

I'm not sure, but a friend of mine does this.

In a police sense, it may be 'Prosecution Administrator.'

Or market research administrator, if it was for a market research company.

In any case, it could mean 'administrator'.
