We all witness these nut cases who like to ride our bumpers, but never want to pass you. You slow down, giving them endless opportunities to pass, and they don't. What is it with this personality disorder? You can go 45 or 70 and they stick right there on your tail. You can have a two lane road or a four lane highway; it makes no difference. Let's here it from the nut cases. What is your problem? Did your mommies not give you enough love? need to get close?

I think "AlongthePemi'sprofile" is on to something there. But can all of these people be part of the ME generation? Any psy majors out there? What's your take on this disorder?

They are Brown Noses at work. This the only way they know how to make it in the workforce. They really not have the Intelligence to do much including drive. So, they have to follow everyone around to be lead by the hand. They get close because they afraid you lose them and then they will have to wait on the next car. Just slam on your brakes."You see the kid/dog run across the road"? If, they hit you remember to go to the Hospital. There is actually a law as to how close someone should be. If, they breaking the law, it not your fault you have to stop the avoid running over someone/thing.

I was wondering about this yesterday. I think it is all about control and intimidation. These people were probably the bullies of the playground in their youth. They don't want you to slow down and let them pass, it's too much work for them to put on their directionals (tho these people never use them) and change lanes. They want you to move out of their way; you do the work. They just never grew out of that 'the world revolves around me' stage.

Yeah they are mighty enraging aren't they?
I often wondered too what their deal is.
You can either slow down so slow that they have no choice but to pass, change lanes, or just keep riding your brakes, it will make them crazy. I have a theory that often people don't realize they're doing it, they're just driving on autopilot, and they're basing all their decisions on what you do, so they're basically just ghosting you so they don't have to think about driving.

I just move over. These crazy nut jobs r shooting people they feel have wronged them on the road. Don't wanna get killed just cause I wasn't driving 100mph and the person behind me felt like it was my responsibility to move over.

I blame it on the driving instructors.
The good news is that no matter how it happens, when you get hit in the rear by one of them, legally it is ALWAYS the other guy's fault, no matter the circumstances. This just happened to me and the guy who hit me blamed it on me not driving a consistent speed. The cop just laughed at him.

Just put on your brakes suddenly along a wooded area & say you saw a deer...they will be at fault, for not being in control of their car...& you might get a new car!
