Nope. The baby goes through growth spurts. Some weeks you'll gain 4 pounds, some weeks you'll gain 0. As long as the baby is moving, don't worry!

No, there is no need to be worried. I gained about 8 lbs in one month, and then the next 2 weeks I lost 3 lbs! I was worried, because I lost weight, but my Dr. said the baby was growing fine, and not to worry, because sometimes you won't gain any weight for a while, then gain a lot. It comes in spurts. If you are really worried, ask you Dr. but I'm sure you are probably fine.

No don't be concerned you know your worry and stress is more harmful to your fetus than no weight gain. Some females down gain alot of weight. Boy babies cause you to lose weight the first few months anyhow. Plus if you are a smaller framed female you may only gain about nine or ten pounds your whole pregnancy. Just keep your doctors appointments and if there is cause for concern the doctor will let you know.

I gained a lot at the beginning and very little at the end in both pregnancies. My OB thought I was dieting, but I was eating an unbelievable amount of food. My babies were very active until the last few weeks of pregnancy so I didn't worry. If you are seeing a doctor on a regular schedule I don't think you have any need to worry.

Do not be worried! I only gained 12 pounds my whole term! I didn't even look prego until the last month when my daughter dropped! I even ate for like 5- LOL. Everyones body is different. Just make sure that you go to all your doctor appointments! They will let you know if you should worry. Try to enjoy it- it was the best experience of my life! I hope next time (if there is a next time) that I get huge though. :)

My wife only gained a few pounds before the last trimester.

Don't get yourself stressed over it. Talk to your doc to setle your nerves. But this is usually the slow period. Wait til the end when you average a pound a week. Plus I've noticed different doctors want you to gain only a certain amount of weight. I had different doctors with my two kids and the first one was constanly yelling that 30 lbs was the limit, and the second doc I had was much more laxed about it.

As long as your baby is healthy, I wouldn't be worried. Next time you see your pregnancy doctor, they check to see that the baby's growing. There is a chance that you, yourself have actually lost a tiny bit of weight, but the baby may have gained what you've lost. As long as you have a healthy baby, don't worry about what the scales say.

No, not at all.

You may not even gain any more for the rest of the pregnancy...just depends upon your diet and the babies' need for space.

Only worries should be any sort of contractions or the baby moving less...lack of weight gain...consider that a blessing. *smiles*
