I believe that this holiday came to celebrate the devil and all the things that deal with him since he is one of the things that a lot of people talk about. Like they do for Jesus

From the pagan holiday Samhain. It represents the season of autumn by recognizing that things die, only to return in the spring.

Halloween as we know it today was celebrated by the early Christians as a party of sorts before All Saint's Day, which is November 1st.

For all you god-fearing folks out there, Mischief Night is October 30th, not the 31st. That's when the Satanists come out to play. Halloween is harmless fun. You remember fun, right?

Halloween or All Hallow's Eve

People would dress up to actually scare away evil spirits, not invite them.

It originated from the pagan harvest festival (end of summer, time to harvest what was grown) and turned into the tradition that we know today. There is no real relation between the Christian Satan or devil and Halloween. That is something the church made up and still uses to brainwash.
