Um, we don't have a 200 million surplus. Iraq cost 2 billion dollars a week! The country is in debt in excess of a trillion dollars. Do you comprehend how much that is? I don't base success on fuzzy math like you apparently do. I go by how much we spend versus how much we make. We spend more than we take in. That's a problem, perhaps not for you but is is for me. My head's not up my a**

Those are not failures. Those are accomplishments. They show that SOMEBODY up in Washington is willing to care about the average American citizen who is just trying to work, raise families and keep a roof over their heads.

The mess in Iraq, the rising gas prices, picking fights with other countries, montioring innocent citizens, those are sure signs of failure.

Google the word "failure" sometime to see what it really is.

i think you mean a 330 billion dollar per year deficit, that is not counting the money taken from the current social security account surpluses and also not counting the cost of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. if our politicians had an iota of honor and shame they would have resigned , and exiled themselves to a remote island,as it is, the American public is too stupid to understand and too uneducated to see the folly of this mess we call "prosperity".
we have dug ourselves a hole so deep that it will take a depression to even start a recovery,a depression of the magnitude that will make the thirties a walk in the park, what we are doing and have done so far is that we have been sold into slavery, we just don't know it yet.

There was never a surplus. It was only a projection. There were never any tax cuts for the middle class, they were the ones actually being taxed.I remember people asking Clinton to suspend the federal gasoline tax as prices soared and he refused.
We have a great economy stupid.

It is probably the worst thing that Clinton done in his presidency, he made the repuglicans look really bad and especially the coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals that followed him.
