Stevo, was a dynamic fellow. He wasn't fake bravado, loved animals not many others would, took his job seriously as well as his family - and yet by observation, even his wife Terri's words rings true; "he was fun".
To do all he's done and still have time for his family and raise a super bright daughter (Bendi) - its a feat that the majority cant pull off.
Don't get me wrong. The man was no god or anything. He's had his faults and far from perfect as any human..., but man! That kind of imperfection I would love to achieve in my life (work, family, dedication -all in balance). I am envious of the man - in a good way.
My heart goes out to his wife and his children.

Steve Irwin was an inspiration to everyone for the conservation of wildlife and the environment. He educated children - our future to respect the environment and it's animals. All of Auatralia are morning his death and will miss him greatly.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest by doing what he knew best. I know I didn't know him personally but his attitude and bubbly personality can never be duplicated. I am still in disbelief that such a fine fellow is no longer here with us. Yeah, he took dangerous risks but death can come to anyone regardless of what kind of lifestyle they lead. I can't describe the sadness that overcomes me when I think that he has passed.

I thought Steve Irwin was wonderful. He was one of my heroes. It broke my heart when he was killed.

The dude was amazing with animals and tried to teach the public about them which I thought was admirable. But when I would see him up in a tree with a Green Mamba a short distance away, I always thought he pressed his luck and as it turns out that's what did him in.

Personally, I like what Carlos Mencia said (prior to Steve's death of course). People are afraid to go to Compton in fear they may get shot, but have no problems sticking their finger in an alligator's **** just to see what it might do.

I think... he was funny. :) He was smart when it came to the animals and really enjoyed his job. He wasn't the brightest crayon in the box when it came to life or death situations and his death was untimely yes but no doubt bound to happen. But I still think he was a good guy who just enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest and I hope that more of us can be so carefree.

While he was alive I always thought he acted brain-damaged.
Now that he's gone, I realize what a true passion he had for animals, and he was bursting with love and devotion for his wife and children. The world is going to miss him.
