i like all kinds of music-especially that which lifts up Jesus and our soul-even Jesus rap-i dont care for rap and music that degrades people and makes a girl into a throw away thing. And i sing at country clubs and other places-and each time usually i sing amazing grace-i sing bon jovi, Nsync, elvis and other songs-unchained melody-by the righteous brothers is cool as i think of Jesus the first love of my life and my precious princess to have and to hold-one day for life.

Wow....favorite song eh? Geez....I could be here all day listing them!!!! I have TONS of fave songs and don't you know it! LOL!! Always have to have music playing......I could listen all day sometimes.
Music was given to us to honor and glorify our God...and ever since then, people have defiled its purpose. It's all about sex, drugs, partying, and hell too. People just don't get it.....satan has his foot in the door WAY TOO FAR.

I used to listen to all those crazy boy bands, teenybopper and godless music, to say the least, when I was younger...even listened to worldly rap.....well, what word rhymes with rap? I'll let you figure out that one...LOL. It blows my mind with how much the Lord changed me over these 10 years as His child.....wow. AND....He still isn't finished!!! If He was, I would be in glory with Him!

As I think of the music I listen to now.....ahh.....glory to Jesus in it all! The Lord always has a song in my heart.....He knows when someone might need to hear it. That is why I usually put words to songs in my emails, messages, comments, and even on my 360 page. I LOVE music!!!!!! Music is such a powerful medium to the mind. It ends up controlling a person...so one has to watch out with what he/she listens to.

As I think of my first and true love....JESUS, and my precious prince ;)........it doesn't get any better! God is in control.....I know He is smiling too! :D :D :D One day....Lord willing!!!!

That's odd...I was Christian and after extensive study, I realized that Jesus would have been considered more of a Reform Jew, so I converted to Judaism.

My favorite song is written by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and performed by the Moshav Band: "Higher and Higher".
Simply beautiful!

Standing on the Promises - a nice rousing, old fashioned hymn and when sung in a congregation with believers, it's great! Here are the words:

Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.

Refrain

Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.

Refrain

Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.

Refrain

Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.

Refrain

Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

Refrain

Have a joyous day, my brother in Christ!

I'm not sure of the name, but it's Christmas-e, it goes, " fall to your knees and hear the angels crying-------When Christ was born" And that's all I remember. It's nice to know there is someone online who (I FEEL) is in love with Jesus in a healthy modern way as I am. He and the Father have given us so much, People like you and I are truly thankful. Can I tell you a motto I made up myself - or God told me -

~ Those of us who are truly happy, :)
are those of us who are truly thankful. ~
God Bless
