It is possible to get pregnant with irregular periods.
Maybe your periods are irregular because you're stressing out over all the things you need to be able to come up with for a baby. When people are very stressed out about doing things like buying everything for the nursery for the baby, setting up some kind of savings plan to be able to maybe take some time off work when the baby is born and to get a head-start on building savings for education they can actually get so stressed out the can't conceive.
You say it is your "boyfriend" and not husband, so I assume you may be also stressed out if you have a demanding job and know you need to keep it after any baby would be born. You could, of course, think about giving up the good job you must have and once the baby is six months old or so you could take some job that pays some crummy hourly rate, like $15 an hour. If you save enough money before any baby were born you'd be able to survive for a while on that kind of money.
So in answer to your question, yes, a person can get pregnant with irregular period. It occurs to me that if you're single and trying so hard to keep your good job and set up a nursery and things like that you may actually be stressing out too much. Maybe you need to relax a little and don't worry about things like having a room for the baby or the best baby equipment or a savings plan for his/her education. It is entirely possible for someone and her baby to do fine on very little in this world. It doesn't kill anyone to be a little deprived and not have that feeling that he or she is every bit like the kids at school.
So relax. You'll probably get pregnant just the way a zillion other women get pregnant. Not everyone believes their baby deserves the best of everything, so if you relax a little on some of the things you may have been working up a tizzy over maybe your periods will return to regular; and then you can get to work worrying about the nursery and a good financial cushion, etc. Good luck. Twenty years from now when you child is in college you'll look back on all this stressing out you're doing and laugh. :)

yes, although a little harder. my periods were never regular and i got pregnant. it took 8 years but finally it happened. when my daughter was 10 months old surprise i was pregnant again. so maybe when it happens, you will become fertile myrtle. good luck. also one of the reasons i think i got pregnant is because i finally accepted that i wasn't going to have any, i started thinking about adoption and got some paper work to fill out. before i knew it i was pregnant. i don't know if you know but you can be trying to hard. step back and don't think about so much and it just might happen

there are ovulation kits that you can purchase over the counter. Try doing this to determine when you are ovulating and then "get busy" during that time. It's a real small window of opportunity to conceive, and if you are that irregular, you should not leave it to chance if this is something you really want.

I've got a novel idea...how about marrying that boyfriend FIRST???
Without a marriage certificate, it's SO much more easy to walk out on you and any baby(ies) you may have.

Yes, you can, although it is bit more difficult to calculate ovulation day.
