Iron Maiden, without doubt.

Saxon were a fine band, but never in the same league as Maiden.

I would say Iron Maiden cuz they are more recognizeable.
I've heard of Saxon, but they haven't been around as long as Iron Maiden has.
Plus Iron Maiden has more albums and has more fans.

Iron Maiden is easily the winner here, due simply to the fact that their popularity is worldwide while Saxon's succuss is only regional.
