I'd say somewhat yes, just like the war WE are in, they harm us, we help them by sending food and pay their expenses to get their country up and running, as we do for other countries. We on the other hand, are not in any better shape than the ones we give to or help. Yes to your answer just as if it were a kid that harms someone, we'd "notice" that kid and try to help/correct that kid. Where as if they were just like every other kid they'd blend in and not be so noticed. If a country is not running by OUR/Govt. standerds our Govt.'s nosey *ss rears their head and steps in.

Ummm if you call lending money to a poor country & then charging them an exorbadent interest rate so they can't pay the debt back ever so you screw them out of resources so they can't make any money to get themselves out of trouble then yes, this is a true statement.
