It is a scam It has been going through the mail for a couple months now they want you to cash the check and send money to them. In order to rcvd a larger amount. Giving you a line that there would be some kind of charge for sending money from the UK. You will be left holding the bag so to speak because that lotto doesn't exist. Bring the letter and check to the police and report it to the Attorney General office they have been working on this. My husband rcvd one letter from them and a week later I recd the same letter myself. A elderly lady in our town made the mistake of sending the money and she was left with a bounced check and nothing else to show for it. go ahead and go to this site to see for yourself how wide spread this is.

Scam, naturally. I'm assuming you haven't played. There are no net based lotteries where they randomly choose email addresses. Scam indeed.

Its a scam I got one of those e-mails before and they wanted a bunch of my info... I made up things and gave them my p.o. box and they kept putting me on hold everytime I e-mailed them they had a different response like we are in the process and it is comming... blah blah blah... Bottom line its a scam
