I replaced the fuel pump in my safari an just wondered if there was an easy way to get the pressure back up in the tank.

Turn the key on for a few seconds, then crank it up.

You turn the key and wait for the fuel pump to stop clicking! Then start the car!

my experience is with Cherokee's, yet i understand the gasoline pump examine valve has been an issue for years. through the years it is going to start up to allow the gasoline to leak again and reason slower starts waiting on the line to best. Mine does this at present. Ive considered adult adult males placed inline examine valves on the the outgoing gasoline lines (the metallic ones) as this would help shop stress on the gasoline rail. in the different case the only restore is to interchange the gasoline pump, no longer too problematic a job because it might get replaced without jacking up the rear. sturdy success!

electric or mechanical fuel pump. if electrical it will do itself, so will the mechanical just takes a little longer is all.
