Because of the evoltion we, the human race, have gone through.
Since the time when our ancestors were born in this world they've felt a need to protect their teriitory or property so any other person who they dislike or is from other race, that person is attacked immediatly "for defense" or "protection" as they believed that anyone crossing their teriitory is trying to invade them or hurt them and as they finish their job they could be reassured for a while. As this has been practised for a very very very long time, it is in our genes without us knowing it..but for some it is for fun or because they get satisfaction but some do that to avenge or for revenge....but in my view...all this is not necessary..if u want to live peacefully...u can never live peacefully-even if all your enemies are dead.

Mankind is an animal that has been formed through natural selection, with aggressiveness and selfishness an intrinsic part of our neurological design. Survival through gaining an advantage over other humans competing for resources, such as food, territory and breeding partners has ensured that only those humans capable of extreme aggression and selfishness have prospered, as these humans will have been capable of using such measures to gain an advantage over other humans in these areas. If one assumes that our genes predispose us towards certain types of behaviour, such as violent aggression in support of our survival objectives (of which good evidence exists), those humans with the genes that facilitate this would tend to prosper, and hence humans predisposed towards those characteristics have become more dominant. In the modern world, competition for resources is still perceived by humans as a threat to survival. If other groups of humans wish to take resources, then it is only natural that our instincts steer us towards protecting resources through violent means. Human civilisation is only a thin veneer that hides our brutal nature. This veneer can be conveniently dispensed with if humans can get away with it and not suffer legal retribution, such as in Iraq.

Because so many people are into theirself and try to make themselfs look better by downing other people. But, that is so stupid. People should help each other and love one another. I know their are some people every one loves to hate but still you can show them respect and maybe one day they will turn around and do the same.
