When solving a hard problem you will loose concentration and put yourself into confusion. There is something lost in your mind that you cannot grasp, your mind is out of control which ends you up sighing, shaking head, or scratching your head. They are involuntary movements resulting out of confusion which unconsciously has the purpose of giving your mind a break trying to refresh for a short while with the hope of making your mind to give solution to the problem. If you are in such situation you do not think of scratching your head but ends up doing it without knowing, have you noticed?
