How do you mention Batch, Frerotte, and Gradkowski in the same sentence as Montana, Marino, Unitas, Namath, and Kelly???? Wow...that is an impressive list (without the 3 I mentioned). And whoever said the Eagles suck, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! HAHA They are such a joke...

Not just quarteracks, Da Coach, Mike Ditka is from W Penn. As is Wannstadt and others. Though you may want to skip the Wannie guy.
I can't say for sure. I actually asked a guy from W Penn, this same question a few months back.
From what I gather, they just have it inbred in them from the time they can first take steps. Football is King, is taught to them at any early age.
But it also is in Texas, and other places as well.
Its got to be the water or some other factor. Maybe football aliens landed there, lol.
