you have spoken the truth and the liberals will cuss you, send hate e-mail and even try to have to have you banned for telling the truth. So sad that they say that they are the party of the "little" man when all they do is kick people around and lie to destroy lives

Be them Democrats or Republicans, whoever said that is an idiot.... Can you honestly tell me that you buy into all the crap that Bush is throwing at you? Do you think that his only agenda is to do what is best for the American people?
Let me tell you, I am a democrat, and I had no problem going to war and kicking Osma Binladins tail for what they did to us. Unfortunately, that was not what happened, and is not what is happening today.
You need to put parties aside and open your eyes to what is happening and ask yourself, is it right or is it wrong. If you think it is right, OK then support the guy, if it is wrong, then stand up and shout it. That is what makes you truly patriotic!!!!
Remember: The measure of a man is not where he stands in times of comfort, but what he stands up for in times of conflict.

A lot of it depends on motivation, though.
Trying to impeach someone because they lied about having an extramarital affair is a lot different than trying to impeach someone for failing to "protect and uphold the Constitution".
Were those Republicans attempting to do what they were doing in the best interests of the country, or their own best interests, or the best interests of the party?
Dissent, if it is in the best interests of the nation, is patriotic. Dissent to advance your personal agenda over the best interests of the nation is not...

Different times laddie....
Disagreeing with a regime who is taking away civil liberties and saying that it is "unacceptable to think" about disagreeing with the current administration, makes you a Patriot.
Disagreeing with an administration who received a ******** in the Oval Office makes you a citizen of a democratic society.
I say hang them all as traitors and put Colin Powell in the seat to get us out of here and repair the image of this great nation.

... I agree with questioning government, regaurdless of where it comes from...
while I have no problem with the issue based attacks on Clinton (NAFTA, China trade, somalia, bosnia and much more... even though I may not completely agree with them)... it lost a little steam with me when it got into the personal issues... Strom Thurmond even said as much...
but naturally... the other side will defend their president with slurs as well... it goes on to some degree with every president...

The Republicans in the 90's were objecting on the basis of his sexual antics. We Democrats do not make judgements on people's bedroom antics. The hypocrisy of the Republicans is astounding.. look at Rush, O'Reilly, Gannon just to name a few.
