Tigers fans, who do you like to see your team play against?

As a Tiger I am hoping The Twins get the yankees in the 1st round. I feel as though they have a better chance of beating The Yankees than The Tigers do.
Good to see Minnesota finally made it to 1st place (for the first time this season)!
I am geeked over this pennant race, it is the most exciting on a very long time (as least for me).
Would love to see The Twins and The Tigers tied at season's end.

As an A's fan, I'd much rather see the Twins play Oakland in the first round. The A's can beat the twins (Zito, Haren and Harden have a combined 2 earned runs against the Twins this season and will probably be their 1, 2, 3, followed by Loiza and Blanton... scary ain't it?)
The Yankees can beat Detroit and the A's have owned the Yanks this season. So if the Twins win the division, which I'm hoping they do, it makes it more and more likely that the A's will FINALLY make it to the second round and probably the Series.
It's weird how these match ups work, but really, the Yankees can beat Detroit, Detroit can beat Oakland and Oakland can beat the Yankees. Gotta love this game.

The Yankees don't want the Twins, and the twins don't want the yankees. Right now they are the two best teams in the American league. I think the Tiger had enough to hold on to get into the playoffs, but not enough to do anything else. The Twins are in a bad situation, they are the only team in the American League post season that can't play the Tigers in the first round. I bet the other teams are foaming at the mouth to play the Tigers.

I am not a fan of either team but very unbiased (Houston fan) and I love the way both teams play ball. I honestly would say that facing the Yankees would be the best option for both teams. Everyone knows that in the postseason its pitching that wins games. Oakland has a killer staff (Haren, Zito, Blanton - played against him!!!) where as the Yanks have the weakest pitching staff coming into the postseason for the AL. Johnson isnt nearly what he used to be, he's not even avg. right now he just sucks. Mussina has struggled alot this season. The only threat is Wang and to be honest who knows what he can do in the postseason. In saying that, the Yankees easily have the best offense while the A's have the worst coming into the postseason in the AL. But, defense and pitching wins the big games in the postseason, not hitting. I think the Tigers would have the best shot at the Yanks with that great pitching staff and good power/defense but the Twins have Santana who is almost a guaranteed 2 game winner in 5 games so if ANYONE can step up and win just 1 they have a great shot at winning a short series against the Yanks with their hot bats and very solid D to go with their pitching.

As a Twins fan I do not think it matters who the Twins face in the first round... Let the best team win and I how it is the Twins!
