I lost the 'The Sims' case so does anyone have the serial number?

I've somehow lost the case to the original sims game 'The Sims' would anyone have the serial number/key by any chance? plz help :-) thank you!

Umm, I think you would have to get another one, because the serial # is special to the game, It is not like an online game, Sorry
(PS, Ive tried it myself, It diddnt work)
