Try a monochromatic suit, or one with very small pinstripes to make you look taller and elongate your legs. Look for pants that fall on the top of your foot for a longer leg line. The pants should also fit at the waist, or just below it. Nothing low rise. Skirts should stop at your knee. The jacket should have smaller lapels, and single breasted. Wide lapels and double breasted jacket do nothing but add bulk. Try to find pants in petites so the length isn't falling down to the floor. That just looks sloppy.

I would go with a high heel and pant suit. Make sure the pant leg is just a little too long so it makes your legs look a few inches longer. I would also go with a jacket that doesn't go too far past your waist so it doesn't look like it is cutting your legs in half.

Just so happens I have just the suit for you. I put a few pounds on so its too small. I even had it altered for a 5'3'' height. Bright red and soon to be on Ebay. Well smart, would look great with high heels.

Go to any shop for suits, say Burtons talk them out about Designers. That can do the trick.

a pencil skirt suit with high heels draws attention to the bum and away from the legs.

alot of stores have petite ranges so if your quiet short there should be somethin for u.
