person who cheats on Yahoo, by 'answering' the original question with another account ID and then awarding that Account ID -10 points as best answer ALL THE TIME?

Nope, it steals from my percentage. I might not be too anal about trying to get a best answer every time, but a high percentage carries with it a certain amount of bragging rights, and you lose them with an automatic miss like that.
But I might just pop in and heckle them a little. Like by answering their question before the other ID does, and predicting the best answerer. People really notice it when you do that.

Well, that's cheating. At least I'd get 2 points, but that doesn't interest me.
Naming and shaming... how on earth could you detect the culprits, if such a thing was possible?
I don't like cheating, it takes the fun out of things. where's the healthy spirit of competition/co-operation? (Tick as appropriate, your approach to Yahoo Answers)

I don't understand why people feel the need to cheat, it's not as if there's a prize involved. This is supposed to be informative, friendly and fun. Why bother to cheat?

I dont like cheating at all. BUT, I dont pay attention to all the points, this is just a fun way to kill the time, I learn, I tell...it's cool no matter what moron cheats.

I just answer questions...I don't look at who asks them and then do a background check on them, unless they ask something absurd or offensive.
