Hi. If you're talking about The Sun in the UK, then it's aimed at a certain level of society, but I wouldn't say their readers are ignorant and thick. They just prefer their news in that format - a mix of the serious and not-so-serious news. They probably don't have the need to know about in-depth analysis of world issues that other newspapers provide. It works though - look how many copies it sells.

That's not a nice generalization.

In my area the Sun is the Baltimore sun. Is this the same as the "sun" you mean?
