actions. people can talk like htey are educated, but what it comes down to is how they behave and what kind of intelligence and common sense they use on a daily basis.

I can't say I really care how intelligent someone is, but it's usually pretty obvious by the second sentence they say around me. So words, I guess. I determine whether I like them or not by their actions.

I would say words. I think it's easier to determine if someone is intelligent by how they speak. You know they have problems if the say aks instead of ask.
