Some Republicans apparently think that everyone in government is completly trustable 100 percent and no one needs oversight...
all politicans and government workers are great right and no one have ever taken advatage of power right?
I mean... why were warrants ever put into place in the first place? it was a silly idea...
as long as you don't have anything to hide... why worry about what the government is doing... they couldn't be doing anything they shouldn't...
perhaps we should just remove all oversight... I mean all it really does is get in the way... all this supreme court and congress... do we really need it... government can't make a mistake, so I mean it's just a big waste of time...
it's always worked out great in history when oversight was removed.... and it never starts by peeling away just one or two measures...
what happened to the days when Repubicans thought that government shouldn't be trusted and should have to prove their points with facts?

hmm... I don't think I've heard many dems talk about no oversight... sure there are probably a few out there.. but I can't recall any off the top of my head...
Republicans seem to be the ones pushing the idea now... that's why they are part of the discussion... if others push the idea, then the same principals certianly apply to them...
