Get some of those kiddies windmill things (I think u can buy them in Woolies) & poke the sticks near moley,s run,he does,nt like the vibration.
Failing that get a GLASS bottle and bury it in the lawn so that only the neck is showing, when the wind blows across it the noise frightens moley and he packs his bags

I sympathise. There is no permanent solution - if your garden is attractive to moles they will keep coming, all you can do is limit the damage they do.
The only tried and trusted methods are poison such as strychnine - which is restricted to licensed practitioners for good reason - and traps. Other methods at best just move them around. Scissor traps, from your local hardware shop, work well. Read the instructions, discuss with someone you know who has used them successfully. Once you have caught one or two moles you know you have the right approach, just keep doing it.
Act promptly when you see any new digging (never be tempted to say "I don't mind them in that area" or "I'll put some traps in next week"), always lay down several traps in separate sections of tunnel, and always replace a trap that has caught a mole, because a neighbouring mole may well take over that tunnel within hours or days (I caught four in a week in one tunnel in the Spring).
Good luck!

First I would ask the question of how much grubs and earthworms are in the soil. If you find a lot of grubs typically you will have moles. You can use Milky Spore powder to eliminate the grubs and the moles usually leave without this abundant food source. Milky Spore is organic actually a fungus that only destroys grubs from Jap beetle and June bugs. Cats are also effective.

We had them and couldn't get rid of them. The best thing to keep them at bay we found was to stick a hose pipe down the hole and fill it up. When the water drained I did it again and again. Flush the little buggers out.
After this I then I washed the soil from the mound down the hole to fill it back up (you don't want you garden collapsing).
It didn't solve the problem but kept them at bay for a good while before they came back.
Moving house works really well!

I thought I just answered that question but it was for someone else, I also asked the same question having thre problem, I just got too many peeps wanting to kill it, what I did was put a stepping stone on the hill each time it came up and pretty soon I had a path out of my yard and it never returned, honest truth!

I have found the only way to successfully get rid of moles is to use mole traps. It takes a bit of skill and patience to use them at first, but after a while it gets quite easy.
The soil that is pushed up from mole hills is great if you scrape it up and use it for planting your spring bulbs in.
Good luck and have patience, I did, and it worked.

You wanna find that Jasper Carrott sketch about the moles. It's funny. Apparently those plastic windmills work, they don't like the noise. I think you can smoke 'em out as well.
Failing that, chucking a grenade in the garden should sort it.
