Is it a common thing to do. She's hosting it along with my friend who is also pregnant with #3, so I'm getting her baby stuff. But don't know what to get my sister-in-law. Thanks!!!!!! Also it's tomorrow, I had to fly from Texas to Montana, that's why I waited!!

A nice thank you card and maybe a plant but nothing extravagant.

I have never heard of giving the person giving you a shower a gift. Really just a nice thank you note after the shower is all that is needed. If you feel you want to do something for her, maybe give her a little something extra at Christmas from the baby?

I do not believe it is common to give the host a gift. Giving your friend gifts are acceptable as she is expecting as well. I think it is your personal preference as a "thank you" gesture. However, I do not think your sister in law is expecting anything. By the way, CONGRATS!!

We were interior even as the adult males attended to the little ones outdoors. We did such issues as make a touch one weight guess chart and whomever were given closest received a funds prize. We exchanged memories about confusing paintings, waters breaking, breastfeeding, formula, and childrearing. We ate till we popped. It develop into an unforgettable journey for me. i have been to three showers and none of them even got here on the point of mine. I had soo a lot of human beings come to my bathe they had to sit down down on the floor and some had to be in yet another room (open section, yet truly a diverse room). I wish you've a useful bathe, healthful toddler, and congrats on being MOMMY !!!!!

Get her a gift certificate to a local Day Spa. My brother got me and my mom as a birthday gift. It was great!
Good luck and congratulations!

If you wanted to give her a simple gift, you could get her a gift card....or you could get her some candles, or some pictureframes (they usually have cool ones at the store with cool little quotes on them.)

The greatest gifts my friends give me is TIME with them. I love to be taken out to my favorite restaurant and just spend time talking.
