If I'm not in a hurry I prefer the automobile. That way you can stop when you want to stop and see more things.
I guess the one I "fear" the most is the plane. The reason is I've only flown twice, so basically it's not so much a fear just an unfamiliar experience.

Planes for distance, trains for the sheer enjoyment of travelling through places you have never seen before and cars with friends.
Fear is a mind killer - life's too short!

i like to travel by car, don't know when someone will take over the plane, or derail a train. in a car you are some what in control.
