With! Against the grain? Are you insane? My face just contorted through a series of painful expressions just thinking about going against the grain. Arggggghhhhhh.

With the grain, Its upsetting to the skin an can create a rash if you shave against. Its also easier to cut yourself.

For the main area, shave in the path that your hair grows, even yet it is truthfully appropriate to flow against the grain for those obdurate hairs. when I shaved with a prevalent razor, i might continuously destroy out with zits and shaving bumps, yet when I switched to an electric, that concern disappeared.

been shaving for over 40 years. i shave with and against the grain using a new razor with cold water sometimes.i had to shave with cold water in the military from time to time so i do cut myself alittle. but hot water with a great gel for lubrication makes shaving easier.
