And what happened after that? I tried to watch the whole thing, but I had a splitting headache so I could only make it to the part where she was writing 'Work Idea' on her notebook.Best Answer gets Best Answer.

Her "work idea" was to feature mothers and daughters in the Fabia campaign.

Her evil boss tried to get her to quit the next day by humiliating her at a photo shoot for Fabia, having Betty dress up and pose with the real models, and everyone laughed at her. She then told him that she quit.

When her boss presented the campaign to the Fabia people, they hated it and the boss's dad gave him one chance to come up with another idea, and that's when he (the boss) of course found Betty's proposal for the campaign.

He went to Betty's house to apologize for what a sh*t he had been to her and to ask if he could use her idea. She agreed to come back, they used the idea, based on childhood photos of Betty and her mother, and the Fabia people stayed with the magazine.

So the boss turns out to be a nice guy in the end.

Whew... it was a good show, and I'll definitely watch again!

First of all, believe it or not... I believe you can go to the abc website and view the whole thing today.
Second of all, here's what I remember... Betty tried to present her idea to her boss, he completely shut her down and rudely sent her on an errand. She ended up talking to Christine (I think that was her name), probably the only person in the company nice to Betty. Christine told Betty that people were talking and the only reason that Betty was hired was because Betty's boss's dad wanted to make sure his son wasn't sleeping with his assistants... Betty accidently left her folder with her idea and apparently Christine must have "left" it on Betty's bosses desk.
The idea was to present the line of make-up under simple moments between mothers and daughters. After the boss's advertising idea failed miserably and he later humiliated Betty into quitting (By asking her to dress up and stand in for a model who was late) and his dad chewed him out for failing, he found Betty's idea on his desk and really liked it. he went to Betty's home to apologize and ask her back to work at the same time that her ex-boyfriend was there asking her to get back together with him. She sent the ex away and told her boss she'd think about it. And, of course, she did the presentation with her boss and the client loved it. Ber boss's dad told him "great job" and he tried to give Betty credit but she inteterupted and gave him all the credit. Later she promised to take credit "next time". it was all pretty cute.

To advertise "make up" by showing an add with mothers and daughters getting ready together, and the mother helping the daughter, with things such as make up and clothes. At first her boss, wouldn't even look at it, until they humiliated her and made her quit, then he seen it, and realized that she had really good ideas, she came back to work, threw the pitch and the client really liked it. When her bosses dad came by them after that, he turned to his son, and said "Good Job" and he said, "Well, it was ....(he was going to say Bettys idea) but before he could get it out, Betty replied "The best one he has had yet"....Ended ok, not as good as I thought the show was going to be!

The answers were pretty much right on the spot. What I was wondering: Who played the Fabia lady? She looked like Gina Gershon... But it doesn't say on the ABC website or on IMDb. Anybody have info?
