Hi,
I have got married in 2002, got kid in 2003. The girl is from rich family, i'm from poor family, Since our ecomomic levels different, she refused to marry me. But her father forced her to marry me because of my education. After marriage, since she do not like me, she had not given any respect, failed miserably to perform any household task. When I ask abt it, we get in to quarrels. She went to police station made complaint againt me. During the last visit Police assaulted me, and i abused the police. Then She mixed Psychatric tablet in the water, which is very harmful, but reduces the tension, with out my knowledge in water and gave me to drink. I drunked it, after that i had breathing, swelling, pain, etcc....
Now i plan to divorce her, even though she agrees for divorce, her father is not agreeing. what shall i do ?

Her dad has no place in the decision. This is strictly between you and your wife.

Okay, the other things you mentioned, father-in-law, no house cleaning or respect, I get that. But what bothers me, is she slipped something into your glass? And your OK with this? If someone administers a drug to u w/o your knowledge, some states call that a felony. U obviously suffered side effects, did u ever go to the police?
To hell with the dad and to hell with the wife, get a divorce. If slipping drugs to you won't work what else do u think she's bound to try next!

What were you thinking that you would marry a woman that you knew did not love you and she made it very clear she did not want to marry you??? You are worse than her father because you also brought a child into this mess. I believe you were being selfish by marrying her because you thought that because of her economic status you would profit from the marriage. Respect is earned and you have done nothing to earn this woman's respect. You deserve whatever comes your way. At the very least you should separate and you should provide full financial support for this woman and your child. You need to do whatever it takes to make this right by both your "wife" and your child. You should go to her and apologize for what you have done to her and ask her what she would like you to do to make it right. Whatever she says, DO IT! Her father should not be your main concern, you need to put this woman and your child first for once!

This is a very serious problem, discuss with your wife and think about your new born child. Tell your wife's father about her behavior. Try to understand why she does not like you? there must be some problem in your side also. If you are unable to give what she wants , try to solve by discussing with her, try to spend more time with her.
"Divorce is not the solution".

Go thru with it anyway..her father is not part of the decision. He is the one who forced the marriage in the first place, and both you and your wife are miserable, plus she drugged you!!! Her father should back off and let you and your wife make the decision to divorce.

If you live in America, and you got married in America... Her father can't stop you from getting a divorce.. It's not fair to the child to grow up in a hostile surrounding..

Looks like you have your f-i-l's support. why don't the 3 of you (f-i-l, wife & yourself) sit down & talk out the issues that both of you have, find a solution to the problem (could be an amicable divorce or stay together on cordial terms)

What her father has to do with it. It's you who she is trying to kill not her father. Divorce her before either you get killed or locked in jail for things you are not responsible but created by her. Could you imagine living with her for another 100 years??? Well don't think you will live that long enough. Well it was stupid enough to even ask, you shud divorce her without listening to anyone. Think of your child, wat kind of life will you give her together. It better to seperates than destroying 3 lives.

Explain things to her father, if it can be helpful. Consult with your family and girl and try to come up with some amicable but final solution as soon as possible.

It doesn't matter what her father thinks. Your NOT married to him. You should both find someone you love and can treat with respect to marry.
