Ok so im going to paper mache head. What is best to use...pva glue with newspaper or pva glue with toilet paper? also how does this http://www.accentannex.com/images/products/93031.jpg
look so shiny? is there a special product or is it just the paint? tnx 2 whoeva answers! xx

Pva glue with newspaper would work well. The toilet paper, I would imagine would get a bit too messy.
If it is well painted with color, then it should shine but for extra
shine, paint or spray with varnish.

my dad, years ago, made a paper mache head to go on a civil war dummy he kept at the top of the stairs in the attic. he's a civil war enthusiast/re-enactor. anyway, after a while we notice the head moving, and being kids, thought it was a ghost or monster or something. we were scared to death to go in that attic. then one day, the head moved enough until it fell over, and all these bugs came flying out, filling the attic. they were like flying ants or something. so beware, and do some research to see if you can find a way to avoid having a house full of bugs. good luck!

its better to use toilet paper but in this case u must use newspaper to make this look smooth
its just the paint which is make this look shiny
if dont have these paints u can add some sparkle
