Dont go to your pet shop for the makey uppy food in the plastic cartons, give them all sorts of finely chopped up meat, like, chicken, ham , turkey and beef, along with earthworms and some chopped up green veg.FACT.You could also experiment with a few different types of bulbs. And position your bulb to the front of the aquarium hood so the light shines on the side of the fish you are looking at , and not the side you dont look at...... brings out the colours, have a look at my answers about what to feed bettas, best of luck.

even as i'd upload some pureed beef heart and liver till they're dime sized and then guppies fry, i'd also replace water continuously and grant as large a tank as accessible. Discus are truly stunted through differences in PH, ammonia or nitrates and temperature. also, even being nervous is risky and may want to reason them to quit eating. attempt this. positioned them in a minimum of a 55 gal tank (in a quiet section with low lighting fixtures) it quite is rigged with a water element upkeep equipment that enables extra water to overflow. Feed into this on the speed of one million gal in preserving with hour water it quite is being elderly in a tank with an identical equipment it quite is fed through tap water and has an undergravel clear out and is properly favourite and planted (and a touch acid in PH). Your fish will strengthen immediately.

Discus are queer....they change colour based on their moods.....make sure the temperature is 85ish.....you do regular water changes, make sure you have comunnity fish that dont pick on them, dont keep the light on for very long(few hours tops), and my Discus LOVE bloodworms. You can also get colour enhancing fish flakes, I'd had that, but i didnt notice too much of a difference!
