a fundamentalist government would obviously make abortion illegal but I am referring to people who had performed them in the past when they were not. Blame Margaret Atwood for this question

EVE....the link you posted is riduculous and uneceessary. You might think its because i am disgusted by photos of murdered babies but thats not the case. I am disgusted that people go to lengths like that to pressure people out of their own choices......i would be more upset by pictures of abused unwanted children so go figure.

I think a lot of things would be unfair if we lived in a fundamentalist Christian world. A lot like now.

Tell me you can look at photos of aborted babies and not find this a crime. Stupid people get pregnant and abort babies. Plain and simple. In this day and age there is birth control...there are condoms at the local drugstore.

Pious adults who refuse to provide children with access to birth control are just as equally to blame as some teenagers will have sex to spite their upbringing.

I'd rather have my child using a condom or birth control and be shocked and upset to discover that, rather than find out they are pregnant or WERE pregnant and aborted a fetus or endangered their own life as well in doing so.

Look at these pictures and tell me which you would choose?

I hope people talk to their children and at least let them know that they would prefer they used birth control if they ever went against their parents wishes and had sex. Then at least they might turn out to be responsible for their actions.

You'll never stop some people and some teens from having sex and from choosing abortion as the option...especially when someone is scared...you must have counselling for these kids and better it be preventative counselling.

I personally do not agree with abortions under no circumstances, every human being is brought into this world for one reason or another. But people who do have abortions, or perform them have what society calls "a right to do so". I cannot be the one to judge, they have to live with their decisions in life, just the same as anyone, and even though I do not like it, I won't criticize them for it...oh yeah, to get to your questions, yes, unfortunately, I think if we lived in a fundamentalist Christian world, it would be alot harder on those who do have or perform them. Make life, don't take it. Take care.

I think that there a group of people who will never be happy with the world the way it is. So, if they achieved their original goal of turning the world into a fundamental Christian one, they would have to find another cause to chase. And I know a lot of antiabortionists would love to get anyone who had anything to do with abortion, no matter how small their role.

Absolutely! I also think that homosexuals would be rounded up like cattle and sent to nazi internment camps for "deprogramming," minorities would be reenslaved, and women would be resubjugated to biblical rules that tend to make slavery look pleasant. A fundamentalist x-ian society would be a hellish nightmare for damned near everybody(pun intended) and I think the whole thing is ridiculous--don't drink the kool-aid, Charlie!

It would depend on just how fundamental it was. In the extreme I do not think people would be forgiven for their past 'transgressions' under a different government. Thus, I would expect them to be in trouble.
