they already have held people with out charges, after 911 1300 american citizens were detained without benefit of council. why do they want all these spy on american's devises, to keep control and stay in power, they are the party of dirty tricks!

Yeah I asked the same question. I can't believe they are trying to push this through, while at the same time declaring anybody that is against this a terrorist. What happened to democracy and the right to question? Really getting sick of the republican policy. The elections can't get here fast enough IMO.
