Look,it's not just the women who lose their sex drive...so do the men.And I think the men lose it more than us.But its only natural!!You cant ALWAYS be in the "honeymoon"stage of a relationship.Nothing is always perfect and your sex drive cant always remain the same.We are not machines..we have feelings that vary from day to day..different moods...work,stress,bills to pay, some have kids at home...all these things can wear a person out..its called life! And to keep a relationship going and for it to be a sucess you gotta work at it a little.Things dont magically happen. We as people expect too much sometimes.A realtionship, as a marriage,go through different phases. You just have to make sure these phases dont get the best of you and that you dont give up.To keep the sex alive and interesting in a relationship BOTH partners have to give their best, try new things, dont forget the romance, and never give up.Only then will it keep working!

Your question can be answered with "Why does a guy stray after being in a relationship after a couple of years or more?".

Same thing, comes down to the sex life. Both sides need to contribute to a relationship for it to work. If sex is important in a relationship, they it should be discussed, as well as new things should be tried.

Some men lose their sex drive too, after a couple years in a relationship. Lots of men friends I know tell me I am beautiful for my age, but I love my BF and would not cheat on him, even tho we do not have sex very often anymore. Sex cannot be a basis for a loving relationship. I have a high sex drive, he doesn't, so I improvise. My BF treats me like a princess, and spoils me rotten, so why would sex even be an issue?

They don't lose their sex drive they just need to be stimulated more, romanced, loved in their minds first. We need to spend good quality time with our spouses and they need to put in a little more effort in trying to go the extra mile for their wives. When the husbands do the little things its what makes everything that much better and worth it.Then having sex is that much more fulfilling for a wife. Women are lovers of the heart first and need to be stroked their before anywhere else, then you wont have any problems with losing any ones sex drive.

lets say Your wife brings home cake every other night for desert after a few months that cake is just a piece of cake its not that cherished little something that you looked forward to at first now all you want is a piece of pie or a nice waffle and ice cream . its about choice don't let her get used to the same old thing variety is the spice of life and love Take her out be romantic get a little kinky flirt with her in public . she is like you human and wants a little affection and care before she will let loose on you . Remember when it was all new and she was like fire smoldering and then she would explode with passion , you have to find that passion or at least the trigger that stokes her fire

Once a man "has" you, he doesn't have to try as hard, no more romance, no more flowers, no more talking, etc. It becomes a chore with us, whenever you are in the mood, you expect it, no matter how we feel. It becomes very mundane and boring. We don't lose the sex drive, we lose the interest in our selfish mates, and have to take care of ourselves, so when you want it, we already "did it". Cha Ching!!!

I don't think they lose their sex drive...i think life interrupts it! work, kids, stress, bills..all these things distract you. My husband and I both went through this...at times, we would go weeks, or months without sex. Now, with the kids getting older and taking less time to take care of them...cars and other major items paid off...the stress levels are down and now the sex drive it back. After 18years of marriage, it couldn't be any better!

Try talking to her and fiunding out just what she wants if she knows. But for the most part the lack of sex drive is boredom. But talking is always the best finding out what is wrong and to see if there is something you could do or help her with sexually.

You would have to ask on a person to person basis. Men can also lose theirs as well. It could be relationship problems/she's unhappy, upset, etc. with her partner, hormonal changes, stress, not enough energy due to working, kids, etc., physical symptoms after having kids, medical conditions, and more. There is no umbrella answer.

Also it could be plain boredom with her relationship/partner.
