It doesn't really hurt persay, it's just uncomfortable. Just relax and don't be tense. It takes about 2-3 mins tops for the exam and about a week to get the results in. Don't let your feelings of being scared get in the way, it's so very important to have this test done once yearly! Good luck.

It does not hurt, its just a little uncomfortable. There is absolutley nothing to worry about during the exam. The pap goes to the lab and the Dr. gets the results in a day or two. If your results are abnormal your Dr. will give you a call to discuss what should be done next.

A little cramping just for a few seconds and depending on the lab the Dr. uses 1 to 2 weeks for results.
A pap is very important foe every young woman and woman to have to stay healthy. Dont think have it

It is a little uncomfortable but you have to get one every year for yourself to see if you have anything. You should be able to get the results in 3-5 days. I used to work for a ob/gyn!

Its uncomfortable, but it doesn't hurt. It usually take 2 weeks to get the results back.

It doesnt hurt except that you will feel uncomfortable during the procedure. It takes 48 hours to get the report.

It is a bit uncomfortable but it doesn't hurt. You will feel some pressure. My doctor doesn't tell me the results unless there is a problem.

i wouldn't say that it hurts but it is uncomfortable feeling, it only takes about 5-10 minutes if everything is normanl.......good luck im sure u will be okay..
